Overview

JOB FUNCTION / PURPOSE

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the month end close process as well as assisting with the budgeting and forecasting processes, and ad hoc reporting.

Responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist Sr. Finance Manager with KPI analytics to better understand and performance the Texas business using Hansen and NetSuite and Smartview

  • Assist with Month end close by analyzing spend and revenue trends as well as accruals and explaining month end variances

  • Assist with financial monthly reporting processes, data and analyses.

  • Assist with building and updating forecast and budgeting models.

  • Help prepare and present CAPEX requests from operations partners and associated ROI

  • Tracks, monitors and reports on system issues and provide workable solutions to management

  • Must be comfortable with large data sets and analyzation tools within Excel

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Education/Experience : BS Degree in Accounting or Finance and 3-5 years of experience.

  • Technical : Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications & internet. Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, and Microsoft Suite.

  • Licenses/Certifications : Valid Driver’s License.
